STATEMENT OF FAITH

A. The Scriptures

We believe in the verbal and plenary inspiration of the Scriptures. The Scriptures are inspired and infallible and therefore are the final authority in matters of faith and practice.

B. The Godhead

We believe in the one Triune God, eternally existing in three persons – Father, Son and Holy Spirit. They are co-eternal in being, co-identical in nature, and co-equal in power and glory.

C. The person and work of Christ

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ became man without ceasing to be God, having been conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He came that He might reveal God and redeem sinful men.

D. The Person and Work of the Holy Spirit

We believe that the Holy Spirit is a person who convicts the world of sin, righteousness and judgement. He is the supernatural agent in the regeneration of sinful men and indwells and seals believers unto the day of redemption.

E. The total depravity of man

We believe that man was created in the image and likeness of God but that in Adam’s sin the human race fell, inherited a sinful nature and is alienated from God. He, of himself, is utterly unable to remedy his lost condition.

F. Salvation

We believe that salvation is the gift of God brought to man by grace and received by personal faith in the Lord Jesus Christ. We believe that the precious blood of Christ shed on Calvary is the only means of our forgiveness.

G. Eternal Security

We believe that all the redeemed, once saved, are kept by the power of God and are forever secure in Christ.

H. Church

We believe that the Church, which is the body and the espoused bride of Christ is solely made up of born again believers.

We believe the Church exists for the proper worship of Jesus Christ and to carry out the great commission. WE are to go into all the world and proclaim the message of salvation through Jesus Christ.

I. The Second Coming of Christ

We believe that the return of Jesus Christ is imminent, visible and personal. He is coming again to rapture His saints and to eventually establish the earthly Messianic Kingdom on this earth.

J. Satan

We believe that Satan is a fallen angel, the author of sin and the cause of the fall of man. He is the open and declared enemy of God and man and will be eternally punished in the lake of fire.
